Milanese Saffron Risotto

Milanes Risotto is extremely hearty and one of the most popular risotto recipes. A simple and delicious rice dish from Italy which commonly serve as main course. It also pairs exceptionally perfect with beef & chicken.
First, chop the onion and heat the broth in a saucepan on the stove. Then, keep it warm while cooking the risotto that will take for 20 minutes.
- STEP 2:
Next, heat the vegetable oil or butter in a saucepan. Add the onion then sauté until it becomes translucent.
Then ,add your rice and toast the grains for 1-2 minutes with constant stirring and finally add the saffron.

Note that, cook the risotto well until the rice is creamy & soft.

Then, stir in the margarine every minute or two and let the risotto stand for 2 minutes. Cook until most of the liquid has been absorbed.

After that, when the rice is completely ready, you can stir in the cheese. Add a little more broth to give the risotto the consistency you like.
Then, off the heat and stir in the remaining butter. Finally, season with salt and pepper and other your favorite spices.
