- STEP 1:
At first, peel the mangoes and then cut them into your favorite chunks (Large is better). Then freeze in an airtight container for at least a day.
- STEP 2:
Next, in a saucepan over low heat, mix & combine the cream, milk, sugar, saffron and cook, after that stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved. Next, remove from heat and let cool completely to room temperature.
- STEP 3:
Then, combine the cream mixture with the diced mangoes, salt and the ginger in a blender. Next puree for 3-5 minutes until smooth.
- STEP 4:
After that, place a mesh sieve over a bowl and strain mango puree through to remove any fibers or solids. Then, pour the strained puree into your ice cream maker.
Transfer to an air-tight container and freeze for an additional 4 hours before serving.
