Instructions:
Steps to make this especial recipe by the method of Sun’s Secret Kitchen
- STEP 1:
At first, Take 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads in a stone mortar and pestle. Add a pinch of sugar and grind saffron into a powder.
- STEP 2:
Boil water and add white tea. After that, proceed with any of the flavor options below:
Choose Flavor (Optional):
- Add cardamom, cinnamon and rose petals
- Add cinnamon sticks and fresh ginger slices
- Add lemon slices with the skin and the fresh mint leave
- STEP 3:
Turn off the heat and let it all steep for 5 minutes.
- STEP 4:
Add the powdered saffron and steep for an additional 3 to 4 minutes and add honey to taste.
- STEP 4:
Decorate with saffron threads, ginger slices, cinnamon stick, lemon wedges or mint leaves.
Serve Hot & Enjoy it cold or hot for days! …
Cooking Notes & Tips:
Note 1: Don’t steep saffron for a long time. It will become bitter.
Note 2: It is better to use white tea than green tea.
