This lovely golden dessert, made with flour, milk, Saffron, rosewater, sugar as the main ingredients and garnished with slivered pistachios or almond which is insanely easy to make and popular in Iranian cuisine.
Method:
Steps to make this especial recipe by the method of Sun’s Secret Kitchen
- STEP 1:
At first, dissolve rice flour in the cold milk and stir to solve them until smooth.
- STEP 2:
Next, place combination of sugar, cardamom, Sun’s Secret Saffron and rosewater in a saucepan over medium-low heat and stirring constantly until comes to the boil and thickens about 25 – 30 minutes. Now your Fereni is ready.
Note that, don’t forget to stir it, because it will be burned.
- STEP 3:
Pour into dessert or suitable dishes and garnish with cinnamon, almond and pistachios slices. Depended on your taste, you can serve Saffron Fereni cold or hot.
